The Idaho Potato is getting ready to Drop to ring in the new year

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Idaho Potato is getting ready to drop to bring in the new year.

The event will occur in front of the Idaho State House at 6 p.m. for the 11th year.

There will be live music, food vendors, electric vendors, and urban air skiing and snowboarding exhibitions.

The night will finish with a fireworks display as the Potato Drops at midnight.
